Rosary Garden Enhancement Project
We are raising funds to light the Rosary Garden to enhance the experience of residents and retreat guests, especially in the evening. Gifts of $350 and $500 will be memorialized on a permanent plaque.
Nestled in the quiet beauty of St. Mary’s of Providence in Elverson, the Rosary Garden has become a cherished sanctuary for residents, visitors, and retreat participants alike. For the Seniors who call this community home, the garden is far more than a landscaped space—it is a place of reflection, comfort, and daily connection with faith.
Throughout the year, St. Mary’s of Providence also hosts a variety of retreats that draw a diverse group of visitors seeking renewal and reflection. These include many local high youth groups, university students, priests, and many others who come to step away from the business of life and reconnect with their faith. The Rosary Garden serves as a focal point during these gatherings, offering a sacred outdoor space for prayer, personal reflection, and evening vigils.
In response to the growing use of the garden—especially during evening hours—an exciting electrical upgrade project is now underway. This improvement will make the Rosary Garden more accessible, safe, and welcoming after sunset, allowing residents and retreat guests to fully experience its beauty at any time of day.
